I hired Shakeout for my friend’s hen party, which was a group of 20 women of various ages, and they played the most amazing ‘bandeoke’ set for us. Everyone absolutely loved singing karaoke infront of a live band, who were great fun, and helped us out when we lost our words or sang out of tune which I am sure was most of the time! The place was a really small basement area with a bar which I was abit worried about, but nothing was too much trouble and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better night. Would definitely recommend Shakeout both for bandeoke in this kind of setting but I would imagine they would be awesome as a stand alone band in a bigger venue with a huge crowd aswell. Thanks again! Alex and the rest of Shake out were phenomenal from start to finish. We had Alex play solo acoustic for our reception drinks and it was amazing. All of our guests commented on how talented he was and it made our reception drinks a thousand times better! In the evening, the rest of the band turned up to play and they created the most amazingly awesome atmosphere! We are so happy we came across Shake out as it completed our wedding!

I found Shakeout when searching for bands to cover our wedding on the Isle of Wight. Watching a clip of them on UTube convinced me to book them. The band leader Alex made all my communications seem very personal to us and he really could not be more helpful. But I guess the proof is in the eating. They were sensational and knocked out song after song without really drawing breath. Alex seemed to morph into the voice of every singer that ever sang rock!! A wonderful band for any occasion, I am so glad I chose them!!!

I also heard from someone that you re-tuned your guitar just so that you could play their request!
